Simply push the green 'stem' in, to pop out the claw - the more you push the stem, the bigger the claw gets to accommodate different sized berries. Embed in the berry, around the leaves and stem, release the stem, and allow the claw to close naturally. Twist right round, and pull, removing the whole leaf and stem in one easy move. Makes hulling strawberries a dream, but can also be used to remove the stems from tomatoes (perfect for stuffing and roasting), and other soft fruits and vegetables.
Super happy with the product, took a few times to get the hang of it, but once I did I had to go buy some more strawberries. Easy to clean which is a must for a busy mom, and the kids could try it too.
