This pack contains two cloths to clean all types of hob and oven, for a sparkling finish.
Hob & Oven Cloth
Ideal for any hob and oven, this cloth will clean stuck-on grime and thick grease from any hard surface. Great on stainless steel, ceramic, glass, enamel and chrome.
One side of the cloth has toughened (non-scratch) strips to quickly and easily remove harder, burnt-on dirt and grease. The other side has a softer, more absorbent texture to clean away any remaining grease and bacteria.
Perfect when used in combination with the Glass & Polishing Cloth, which gives a sparkling, streak-free finish to all hob and oven surfaces.

Glass & Polishing Cloth
The Glass & Polishing cloth is our most versatile cloth. It will perform well on all light cleaning. It is exceptional on shiny surfaces and will leave stainless steel, ceramic, glass, enamel and chrome completely smear-free. It will easily outperform specialist liquid cleaners on these surfaces.
The cloth has a different fibre construction and a different weave to the Hob & Oven Cloth.' This reduces overall absorbency and makes it less effective on heavy dirt. However, it increases the speed at which moisture is absorbed and its performance on light grease and dirt is excellent. This is what enables it to leave surfaces so shiny.

How the E-Cloth Works
Each E-cloth has an extraordinary 480,000 strands per square centimeter. Every special E-cloth fibre is 1/100th the width of a human hair. It is this, together with the wedge shape of each individual fibre, that gives the cloths their remarkable cleaning capability and their high absorbency.
Unlike conventional cloths, as you draw an E-cloth across a surface, the fibres clean by breaking up, trapping and absorbing dirt AND grease into the material. All this with just water.
There is a lot more to it than that, of course, and each cloth is different.
How E-cloths and water work together
Water is pretty good at cleaning most things all by itself. That's because its molecules have two very different ends. They're electrically unbalanced, so they stick to all kinds of things (including lumps of dirt) like tiny magnets and break them apart. Water is sometimes called a universal solvent because it can dissolve so many different things. E-cloth fibres can get a better grip of tiny dirt particles that bigger fibres wander nonchalantly past. There are natural adhesive forces (forces of attraction) between tiny fibres and tiny particles of dirt called van der Waals forces. (Van der Waals forces are the things that stick geckos to ceilings using tiny hairs in their feet.) The van der Waals force between each microfibre and each dirt spec is pretty tiny, but when there are lots of fibres the effect is multiplied enormously. Dust, dirt, and bacteria naturally cling to the microfibres and stay there.
"Using the natural cleaning power of water, combined with the enormous cleaning power of the millions of tiny fibres in E-cloths, its possible to clean mechanically, not chemically."

What customers say
I just wanted to drop you a line to tell you that I am delighted and amazed with the e-cloths I ordered from your site last week.
I saw the link to the cloths on your last newsletter and was intrigued (but slightly skeptical) with the no-chemical approach. Anyway I decided to order a set for myself and my sister. All I can say is WOW – we were on the phone to each other constantly yesterday saying ‘have you tried that one’ and ‘what about the way it cleaned that’!!
The glass cleaning cloth is by far the most amazing invention ever – my personal bugbear is mirrors and windows but with that little cloth, it is a delight to clean house!! I have already been online today to order more cloths for friends and the mop for myself!! Thank you for bringing these products into SA and please do consider bringing in more of the full range like the duster and screen cleaner – I can’t wait to try more of them!! - Audrey Wilson (Gauteng)
