Description
Hard Anodising is an electrochemical process that changes the surface structure of the product. The molecules are forced closer together, to create a more durable baking surface. The result being a material that is now 30% harder than regular stainless steel, with a superb, even heat distribution.
As a result of the anodising, the bakeware will never peel or blister, and metal utensils can be used as the pans are scratch resistant.
Mermaid Hard Anodised bakeware products are oven safe to 240°C/475°F/ Gas Mark 9 and roasting items can be taken straight from the oven and used on the hob to make gravy and sauces.
Care of the product is very easy - although it is not dishwasher safe - simply soak any stubborn stains in hot, soapy water and if necessary, clean with ScotchBrite® or similar scourers.
