Colourful eggs for breakfast
We are growing like a giant cookie cutter shaped amoeba, have rather more space (including a spanking new test kitchen) and Andrew and Shanes’ kids (who were tiny when Yuppiechef started) are now grown up Minichefs. Times are a changin’.
We gathered in our kitchen early last Friday morning to talk about the happenings of March and feast on scrambled egg and bacon croissants prepared with panache by the tremendous trio of directors
Tucking in around big wooden tables we discussed, among other things, how bacon can sometimes have the most incredible amount of flavour.
Then it was on to some more artistic egg interactions including delicate pricking, cautious blowing, accidental cracking and paintwork. Have you ever blown eggs? Speaking of which, do you know how to fold a rabbit napkin?

The results, considering the early hour at which we embarked on the crafty mission, were impressive. From stars and faces to wild texture and tiny paint blob horns – we are now the proud owners of a thirty strong coloured egg collection (for the small price of a few painty lovemarks on the wooden tables).
To everyone who is celebrating Easter, happiness to you.
