Eat for the Earth 2012
Got plans for Tuesday 5 June? For the second year running, we’re inviting everyone and anyone to Eat for the Earth by hosting a meal and making a donation to Soil for Life on World Environment Day, the most widely celebrated day for positive environmental action.
How to eat for the earth
- Register to host a meal (at home or at work)
- Invite friends, family or colleagues to Eat for the Earth with you on or before 5 June
- In return for the meal ask guests to make a donation online to Soil for Life
Easy peasy. Join the Eat for the Earth Facebook event to stay in the loop and win spot prizes in the lead up to the event and check out these winter-friendly recipes as well as some photos from last year’s lunches.
Tell the world you’re eating for the earth
If you’re feeling creative, how about telling your world you’re taking part by making an ‘I am eating for the earth‘ picture and sharing it with your friends on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest? Get your poster-making game on with alphabet soup or veggie carvings and be sure to post it on our Eat for the Earth Facebook Event page for a chance to win a spot prize.
