How to make a mango daiquiri

Large jugs of frozen daiquiri could be just what your summer entertaining plans ordered. Nothing works better with fruity cocktails than light rum. Substitute mango with banana, kiwi fruit or strawberries and always remember to add the liquid and fruit to the blender before adding the ice.
How to make mango daiquiri

Ingredients for three tall drinks:

3 shots (75 ml) rum
1 mango
Half a lime, juiced
1 shot ( 25 ml) Triple Sec or Cointreau
4 tsp castor sugar
2 cups ice cubes
Serve with fruit as a garnish – apples, mangoes, limes or strawberries
Making Mango DaiquiriMethod:

1. Peel your mango and cut the fruit away from the pip.
2. Add all the ingredients to a blender except the ice – we used the KitchenAid Artisan Blender. Blend.
3. Add your ice, blend on the ice setting and serve.

Et voilà. A drink for the summer entertaining repertoire.
