Pantone colour of the year: 15-5519.
Did you know that Pantone® select a colour of the year, every year? We didn’t, but we found out that they do. For 2010 it’s turquoise – specifically 15-5519. You can read the full press release if you like.
So the reason this has relevance to our blog – apart from being potentially useful if you were buying paint or daring socks – is that Le Creuset make oval and round cocottes in almost this exact shade.
They call it Caribbean Blue, which is also a song by Enya. We just thought you should know.
