Rejuvenate that old knife

Much scouring of the world of kitchen tools has eventually led us to this sharpener – and what a find it is. Not only does it do a great job on your professional knives but it is perfect for that black-handled, often-used, incredibly-blunt knife every body owns (currently sitting either in the top drawer or among the recently washed up items in your kitchen). The real beauty of this 3 stage knife sharpener is just that: three wonderful, glorious, essential and nation-changing stages.
If your knife is so blunt it makes a barn door seem like a razor – this is the tool you need. Not only will it bring back that knife from the grave but it will (with the help of stages 2 and 3) give it an edge – and a good as new one too! But wait there’s more… ok, that was actually mostly it, except of course that it has a trusty handle, which ensures that both the knife and the sharpener won’t slip out of your grasp as you hastily bring your knives back to their former glory.
Take a look below and give your eyes a treat: A magnificent specimen and prime candidate for ‘product of the month’ – Wow!

No time to waste…
See if it’s real.
Find it in haste,
This is a deal.
Recommended for only Scanpan knives (and other black handled ones hiding in the draw) or Global ones too??
Funnily enough we recommend it for every knife brand except the Global range (and obviously ceramic knives, which hardly get sharpened, I might add). For that you need the MinoSharp, no doubt. You could use Global knives on it but because they have that smaller angle of a blade (15 degrees if my memory serves me correctly) it’s easier to use the MinoSharp which will guide you through the process. Because most knives have a bolster they can’t be used in the Minosharp or we’d recommend it too. However, the 3 stage goes a bit further in that it can bring knives back from the dead and then keep them sharp too. Hope this helped!
Most helpful. Thanks!
The Scanpan is not only effective, but pretty too. It has almost a Japanese Katana-like look, and it will not look out of place in the most modern and hi-tech kitchen. Let’s face it, knives will always go blunt for one reason or another, and a proper knife sharpener should be in every kitchen’s inventory.
It is a steal at R250-00 and full value for the 5-star rating that it has. I just gave it a 5-star rating myself and fully intend getting myself one.
Take care guys!
