Staff Wishlist for Christmas
The Big Cheeses
Andrew favours the simple but classic Imperia Pasta Machine, Paul the timeless KitchenAid Stand Mixer and Shane the fancy Bugatti Vera Electric kettle. As diverse as their ideas about print advertising and the weather.
The champions on the front line
Our customer service team opted for some golden oldies, including Dale’s Forever Ceramic knife, Clair’s love affair with the Le Creuset Whistling Stovetop Kettle, Erin’s high five for the Zoku Quick Pop Maker, Kaylee’s beady eye on the sturdy Swiss Diamond wok, and Carol’s longing for the fabulousness of Joseph Joseph Elevate.
Those on the other side of the digital divide
Our techies love many things, including good (strong) coffee, Minecraft, Dvorac and writing codes to choose the right box to pack orders. Deon is after the KitchenAid Artisan Espresso Machine, while Warren would kill (oh oh) for the Global Knife Set with Magnetic Rack and Gavin remains true to his tech roots, favouring the KitchenAid Artisan Burr Grinder.
Web people
Romy – who turns beautiful pictures into things we can click on – likes the look of the Eva Solo Coffee Maker while Tim fancies the Bialetti Moka Express Espresso Maker. We think it fancies him, too.
Warehouse wonders
It may not come as a surprise, that our warehouse men love their braais – Phil would give up vegetables for the Weber One Touch Braai silver while Tony’s going big with his sights set on the Weber One Touch gold. New to the warehouse team, Kyle loves the super-portable Weber Smokey Joe Gold braai while Thian (who interned with us for a while) reckoned he could do with the Kitchen Craft Bar Wall Mounted Bottle Opener and Ntando dreams of braais on the go with a super portable Hot Rods Roadster Braai.
Spatula, marketing, mailers
Lisa (who recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl) thinks rather highly of the Sagaform Wine Carafe, Ali wants a Weber Smokey Joe Braai in turquoise for her new place, Louise (like Paul) wants a KitchenAid Stand Mixer and Marina is bursting to test the range of ice cream recipes recently posted on Spatula in the marvellous Magimix Ice Cream Machine.
The people behind the product pages
Last but not least, we have the supercalifragilistic merchandising team, with Sean (who is not as menacing as he looks) choosing the razor sharp I.O Shen Oriental Slicer and Sigrid getting seriously excited about the beautiful Le Creuset Oval Cocotte.
Now you’ve seen what we want for Christmas, buy them for us. Kidding (not kidding). Also we’d love to know what’s topping your list -so pop us a comment. Who knows, maybe Father Christmas reads Spatula…
