Quick and easy stir fry inspired by Spirelli

Like a good stir fry? The Gefu Spirelli cuts hard veggies into super thin, long strings. Simply use the Spirelli as you would a pencil sharpener and veggie spaghetti, fancy salads and easy stir fries are within your grasp.  Avoid additional carbs and load up on homemade noodles of the ‘green’ variety with this easy courgette, edamame and sprout stir fry.

Ingredients

2 large courgettes
1 packet (125g) fine beans, trimmed
1 packet (125g) baby asparagus
2 mini savoy cabbages, broken up
Handful of shelled edamame beans
Handful of sprouts
Pinch of chilli flakes
Peanut oil
Sesame oil
Soy sauce (optional)
Pickled ginger (optional)
Wasabi (optional)

Method

1. Use your Spirelli to cut the courgettes into noodly ribbons.
2. Stir fry all the ingredients together in a dash of peanut oil until slightly wilted.
3. Add a little sesame oil to taste and serve immediately with soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi on the side.

The Spirelli may well become your new best friend. Offering two spiral thicknesses (2x3mm or 3.5x5mm) you can vary the texture of your veggies or garnishes and it’s easy to keep clean with a quick rinse under the tap or a spin in the dishwasher.
Nice to see you, green and orange noodles.
