Product Info
The tool that started Vacu Vin was the Wine Saver. Designed to extract air from a vessel to minimise deterioration through oxidation, the Wine Saver Kit comes with two rubber stopper valves. Just pop on the rubber stopper, and use the Wine Saver to pump out the air. The valve will click when it has reached optimum vacuum, and you can store it like that. To reopen the bottle, squeeze the lid and let the air rush in - remove the stopper and pour.

Well made and effective
I recently broke my Le Creuset wine pump and bought this to replace it. I'm very impressed - this product is much better than the Le Creuset! This one requires far less effort and 'pings' when it's achieved sufficient vacuum so know to stop pumping. The seals are also a much better shape that fits securely on both screw cap and cork type bottles holding the vacuum very reliably so far.

Nice idea but expected a better product
I wasn't entirely happy with this product, main problem being is that it is very unclear when the bottle has actually been vacuumed. The instructions advise to pump until you hear a click, however I have pumped and pumped and pumped until my arm could not longer pump and there was no "click" so I never know if I have actually pumped enough to preserve the wine. Best of these that I've tried
I've tried a number of wine saver products, and this one is the best so far. It really does keep wine fresh for 2-3 days, which is about as much as you can realistically expect.
I do note other reviews saying that their wine saver doesn't click when the vacuum is established - mine definitely does.

I'm a fan
I've only had this product 2 weeks now, but its definitely working. Drank the last of a bottle of white last night, that I opened 5 days ago and it was still perfect, definitely an improvement!
I stuck a magnet onto the side of the pump part, so that I can leave it on the fridge door like a fridge magnet. This way I'm reminded to use it, it's working well.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
