"You can't NOT have a Salt Keeper"
A Salt Keeper is an absolutely unnecessary item that you can't go without. Yes, you can keep your salt in a cheap glass bowl or bottle or even leave it in the plastic packaging. But it won't be as stylish as investing in this gorgeous keeper, nor will it make you feel like a celebrity chef when you pinch salt into your dishes! Mine has pride of place next to the stove and it is a definite conversation piece. On the downside, the mouth opening is a little bit too small, but I have big hands. A small wooden spoon overcame that problem. Go ahead and order this item. You can't NOT have a Le Creuset Salt Keeper, it's in the French Constitution.
